Compare disposable demo work with production and keep private records in the right place.
Demo or production?#
The public demo is an isolated, disposable evaluation. Its expiry is displayed in the workspace; the default lifetime starts after successful verification and provisioning.
| Choice | When it fits | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Demo workspace | Try the supported workflows with disposable records. | Access ends at expiry and records are purged. External financial actions use sandbox behaviour. |
| Production workspace | Maintain the real person’s or business’s ongoing work. | Uses its own permissions and configured integrations. Keep actual provider and country readiness under review. |
Keep information in the right context#
Choose the correct personal or corporate workspace before adding files or records. File ownership, storage allowances and staff access belong to that workspace.
Do not enter card details, provider secrets or other people’s private information into ordinary notes. Use the designated protected integration settings for credentials.
Expiry is not a backup#
Save any permitted evaluation material you need before the demo ends. Switching a profile does not turn a disposable demo into permanent storage or reset its expiry.
Ask the owner about the real workspace’s backup and recovery arrangements. A local backup and an independently verified off-server recovery process are different capabilities.
Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
