Catalogue items, note their condition and history, and track loans and returns.
Catalogue an item and note its condition#
Open Hobbies & Collections in your personal workspace. Add an item title and collection name. Reuse the same collection name on related items and search by collection, title, or category to find them.
Choose the condition you observe and add provenance or ownership references when helpful. Keep the evidence in your own secure storage and record its reference here. Only the personal workspace owner can see the catalogue.
Record activities and dated estimates#
Use a dated activity note to record care, repairs, displays, or a discovery about an item. Add another note if you need to clarify something already in the history.
An estimate keeps its original amount, three-letter currency, date, and source. A new estimate becomes the current entry and the previous one stays in history. Treat the estimate and provenance as your own records and use a qualified specialist for formal appraisal or authentication.
Track loans and keep your history#
Record a borrower name and due date, then use the On loan view to review the outstanding items. The borrower name is a private note. Record the actual return date when the item comes back.
Return an outstanding item before archiving it. Restore an archived item to continue editing it. The private item page keeps the recent activity and lending history together.
Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
