Set a private or explicitly shared chore, complete due occurrences and review household workload.
Schedule household responsibilities#
Open Household & Chores in your own personal workspace. Choose a first due date, time zone and one-time, weekly, fortnightly or monthly recurrence. A monthly date on the 31st uses the final day in a shorter month and returns to the 31st when available.
For example, schedule a weekly recycling chore and choose an assignee. Use a private label when you record work on someone else’s behalf. A label does not send an invitation or grant access.
Complete, correct and review the schedule#
Mark the current due occurrence complete to advance a recurring chore. For skipped work, the owner records the reason. If the latest result was entered incorrectly, reopen it with a reason. The original result and the correction stay in history.
Pause a schedule to preserve its current due date, then resume when ready. Archive when tracking ends. The workload summary counts completed, uncorrected occurrences in the last 30 days under the assigned name. Use it as a review aid alongside the actual effort involved.
Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
