Turn a personal goal into milestones, record progress and decide what to do at your next review.
Choose an outcome and a next action#
Install Life Goals from Apps in your personal workspace. It uses one app allowance and has no prerequisites. The verified personal owner is the only person who can open the goals, including in Demo. Family members, staff and workspace administrators have no access to these records.
Name your goal, then add an area of life, desired outcome, next action and review date if useful. For example, choose Learn conversational Italian, describe a first short conversation as the outcome and make Book a practice session the next action. Dates are calendar dates. Review dates appear in the list.
Break the outcome into milestones#
Open your goal and add a milestone with an optional due date. Mark it complete when it happens. For example, complete Hold a five-minute practice conversation after finishing the session. Your progress counts completed milestones against the current plan.
Edit an open milestone when the plan changes. Reopen a completion with a short reason to correct it. Remove an open milestone when it no longer belongs to the plan. Its removal and reason remain in the goal history. Each goal can hold up to 100 milestone records, including removed ones.
Review, finish or restore a goal#
Record a progress note when you have an update. At a review, write what changed and choose your next action and review date. Recent activity shows the latest 50 changes. A next action is a note inside Life Goals, and review dates stay in the app.
Finish a goal after you review its outcome and resolve open milestones. You can reopen it if you need another round of work. Archive a goal to keep it for reference, then choose Archived in the list to find it. Restore returns it to its previous active or finished state.
If a save conflicts with a change in another tab, reload the goal, review its latest state and then retry. If the browser cannot confirm a save, reload and check recent activity before submitting again.
Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
