Record bedtime, wake time and interruptions#

Open Sleep Diary in your personal workspace. Choose the time zone used for both clock times, then enter the actual dates and times. For overnight sleep, wake time normally falls on the following date. Use the second occurrence option only when the local clock repeated and you mean the later time.

Enter the count of interruptions and the total minutes awake during them. Add a private note if it helps you remember. The diary uses your entries and actual elapsed time, including daylight-saving changes.

Review totals and correct the original#

The recent summary groups entries by their recorded local wake date. Recorded sleep is elapsed time less the awake minutes you entered. You can record naps as separate intervals when they do not overlap another current record.

If a time is wrong, exclude the original with a reason and enter the corrected interval. Your original remains visible in private history. Diary totals are estimates from your records. A clinician can interpret symptoms or diagnose a sleep disorder.

Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
