Request a passkey-verified signature from a current workspace member and verify the exact PDF and evidence.
Check the signer, method and original#
Install Electronic Signatures in the corporate workspace and prepare the source in Document Management. Check the PDF version and SHA-256. The signature request keeps that exact file even when the source gets a new version.
Confirm that your organisation has approved this internal passkey method for the document and the declared jurisdiction. Record the policy or approval reference and select the current verified workspace member who should sign.
Set the expiry and create the request#
Review the source, signer and expiry before submitting. The signer opens the request in their own workspace account. They can review the exact PDF and either sign or decline.
The workspace owner can cancel a pending request. For a different PDF or signer, start a new request after closing the original.
Review and sign with your own passkey#
Open the exact PDF and check that the request shows the expected signer, version and fingerprint. Read and accept the consent statement, then verify with your registered passkey in the same browser session.
After verification, check that the request shows Signed before repeating any action.
Verify and retain the evidence#
Download the exact original PDF and the evidence from the completed request. Compare the SHA-256 of the downloaded original with the fingerprint in the evidence. Keep the original and evidence together in your reviewed retention process.
This workflow records workspace account verification and consent. Arrange any certificate, witness, external signer or prescribed form your agreement requires through the applicable process.
Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
