Review posted cash balances, approve scheduled payments and match their finalized Accounting bank movements.
Read your cash position#
Confirm the corporate business identity and configure double-entry Accounting. Treasury uses the ledger currency and calendar. The workspace owner sees posted cash and bank balances as of the local date, the most recent finalized statement closing balance and approved obligations due in the next 30 days, including overdue items.
Compare the book balance with your latest bank statement before planning. The statement date shows how recent the last reconciliation is. An approved obligation remains in the schedule until matched or cancelled. A separately posted payment awaiting a match can therefore appear in both posted cash and the outstanding schedule.
Schedule and submit a payment proposal#
As owner, choose an active bank account and verified administrator to review. Enter the due date, exact amount and a reference to the underlying obligation. For a two-decimal ledger currency, 12500 minor units represents 125.00. Use your ledger’s minor unit convention.
Save the draft and submit it when ready. The assigned checker can approve the exact revision or return it with a reason. Reassign a returned draft if the checker changes. If access has been revoked after submission, cancel and prepare a new proposal with the current reviewer.
Verify the actual bank result#
Use your authorized bank channel for any actual payment. Record it in Accounting and finalize the bank statement containing its posted outflow. Treasury only offers an unused matching bank line from the approved account, with the exact amount and currency, on or after the approval date and inside the finalized statement period. The statement must have ended by the current ledger date.
Review the external source and the offered Accounting entry before linking. Similar payments may share an amount, so use the exact statement and journal number. Each line can close one proposal. If the journal is later reversed, the original match stays in the history with a reversal notice. Check the resulting bank balance and create a new proposal only after reviewing the original evidence.
Keep the active workspace, actual business requirements and current setup summary in view. A guide explains a choice; it does not make that choice for you.
