Enrich product information in multiple languages, confirm media rights and apply approved text to an existing Ecommerce product.
Set up the editorial record#
Open Product Information Management in the corporate workspace. Choose a stable catalogue code and record the product family. Use one localized name and description per language, then record consistent attribute keys such as material or dimensions.
Record media references with their rights holder, status and evidence. Keep originals in the appropriate file system. The catalogue records your team’s declarations about rights and usage.
Review a specific revision#
Save the draft, check the product facts and submit it for review. An owner or administrator can approve the exact revision or return it with a reason. The editor can then make a new version and resubmit it.
Use the history to open previous content and read the publication receipts. Archiving keeps the history and prevents new publication. Restoring creates a draft stage for a fresh review.
Apply approved text to Ecommerce#
Configure Ecommerce in the same workspace and choose an existing product. Enter its product slug and compare the current and proposed text in the store’s configured language. A missing translation requires another editorial revision and approval.
After reviewing the exact destination, apply the approved name and description. The destination keeps its existing publication status. The receipt identifies the storefront product, locale and saved version. Prices, stock, variants and media are handled by their existing apps.
Resolve a changed destination or text#
If the editorial record or destination changes after preview, reload and compare again. If an action returns an unresolved reference, check the latest editorial history and the destination before issuing another command.
